Many couples have the intention of including some special games and interactive sessions during their wedding but are concerned that it might cause awkwardness among the guests.
Therefore, I would like to recommend to you a mini game that I have hosted for one of my wedding clients. It’s easy to prepare and really fun, especially suitable for a cozy and small-scale wedding!
The theme of the game is : How Well Do You Know About The Bride & the Groom?
Item to prepare : Kahoot (or other similar quiz websites)
How it works : Prepare 10-15 questions that are related to the bride and the groom.
- For instance, how long both of you have been together, favourite sports & hobbies, work place, living habits etc. You may also include some interesting and fun questions like what is the shoe size of the bride etc.
After that, you may offer some prizes to the top 3 guests that answer the most questions correctly to create the excitement!
Karen’s suggestions:
Try to choose some interesting questions so that the emcee is able to incorporate some love story of the couple when the guests are answering those questions. This is not only engaging & interesting, it also allows the guests to understand more about both of you.
I still remember that day when I hosted this session, the guests really had lots of fun & the entire session was filled with laughter. Since this game is not compulsory, those who are interested may participate, while those who are not interested to play may just watch others playing the game. Besides that, this game will only display the top 3 players, this will allow your guests to have fun, feeling comfortable and avoid awkwardness.
